Brooklyn Stand Up!

Brooklyn, Stand Up!: Documenting the Brooklyn Renaissance is a year-long exploration by DOPE SWAN, a community arts organization, into the many ways in which Brooklyn’s self-made artists, activists and entrepreneurs cross traditionally strict professional guidelines to challenge business models and social constructs. The project includes “A Great Day in Brooklyn”, monthly arts programming, a documentary film and photography exhibit and a newly created scholarship for Brooklyn students pursuing an education in the arts.
